Today when I went to order Uber Eats for lunch I saw there was a special for FREE Curry or Dumplings when you spend $20, which is a pretty great deal. I was really hungry so I ended up going with the first place I looked at which was Fat Boy Thai Street Eatery in Windsor, which I chose as its name really resonated with me as I am also a fat boy.

The free meal on offer was the BBQ Green Curry Chicken and whilst I’m not really into green curry I thought it would be good way to give it another shot.

Crispy Pork with Chinese Broccoli

“Crispy Skin Pork Belly with Chinese Broccoli Seasoned With Light Soy & a Touch of Chilli”

This was a toss-up between the Basil Chicken (Chicken Breast Fillet Stirfried with Seasonal Vegetables, Fresh Basil and Chilli) for me. and I definitely made the right choice. The volume of pork belly included felt like great value and the pieces were perfectly sized with a great crispy texture and soy flavour from the sauce. The sauce seemed to have more than a “touch of chilli” in it. This is fine with me but it might be a bit hot for some people.

Overall, I think this is a great meal and highly recommend this.

Golden Chicken Ribs

“Tumeric Chicken Ribs Golden Fried Served With Sriracha Mayo”

For only $12, I received 6 rather large and meaty fried chicken wings and at $2 a piece, this is a bargain. The breading was very good and it tasted great with or without the Siracha Mayo. This is also highly recommended.

BBQ Green Curry Chicken

“Green Curry With Tender Grilled Chicken Served With Chilli, Eggplant, Kaffir Lime Leaf and Thai Basil (Do not come with rice)”

This was a free meal with a $20 purchase, I’m not a huge fan of soup-like curries that go with rice. I just wanted it because it was free. It is rather spicy and creamy but too sweet for me. The chicken in it is good, but I’m going to take this home for my partner as she likes Green Curry.
