What makes The Kettle Black - the popular South Melbourne cafe by Australian hospitality giant, The Darling Group - quite so special? Well, some may say it's a combination of things! In fact, the juxtaposition of the various elements that make up the iconic breakfast venue is evident in almost everything you observe when dining at or visiting The Kettle Black.

It's hard to drive down Kings Way without noticing the little shack on the corner of Park Street that houses Wise Guys Pizza N Pasta. It feels like it's been there forever, yet I'd never tried it. Now that I'm writing for this site, it seemed like a great excuse to finally check it out and write about it!

Whenever I walk down Albert Road in South Melbourne towards Kings Way, I walk past Einstein's On Albert and admire the clever pun. Get it? like Albert Einstein. Well, I've been very hungry this morning and noticed them having some really good deals for Buy 1 Get 1 Free on Uber Eats.

RTB (Roastie Toastie Bros) in South Melbourne is a cafe specialising in toasted sandwiches, poke bowls, breakfast and pizza. It also sells wine and cocktails and is on the corner of Palmerston Crescent and Sandilands Street in South Melbourne. It's very close to my office and I've been there a few times with colleagues to eat and have also picked up a takeaway from there as well.

This is a great place for people living or working nearby to grab a drink or a meal, and we really should head there for a beer after work one day.
