Well, now we know what restaurant is replacing Degani Cafe South Melbourne, which closed down recently. Zambrero Mexican Restaurant! That’s actually quite exciting as there are not many options for Mexican in the area (Rosa Mexicano at 293 Clarendon Street and Taco Bill South Melbourne, which is at 375 Clarendon Street, but is only open at dinner time).
The new Zambrero South Melbourne is on the Market Street side of the Spotlight Centre (South Melbourne Central) at Shop G16 – G17, 111 Cecil Street, South Melbourne VIC 3205. It is next to Hunger Valley, which I reviewed recently.
