Until December 20th 2024, the online video game memorabilia store PixelCrib has a popup store at Melbournestyle’s gallery space at 155 Clarendon Street, South Melbourne.
The popup includes a huge collection of video game soundtracks on vinyl records, which is definitely the main collection for the store and their biggest drawcard. There’s also a great collection of video game themed coffee table books (many by Bitmap Books), covering retro content such as the NES, Nintendo 64, GameCube and games for oldschool Mac computers.
As well as well video game books and vinyls, there is a small selection of video game soundtracks on CD and a collection of indie titles for Nintendo Switch and Playstation consoles. A range of Evercade games and handhelds are also for sale and you can try them out in the store.

After December 5th, PixelCrib will be packing up and moving further down the road to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre at 2 Clarendon Street South Wharf for Oz Comic Con 2024 Xmas Edition. Oz Comic Con runs Saturday December 7th and Sunday December 8th and tickets are $45 each with kids under 5 getting in free.
