Port Melbourne is an inner-city suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, located 3km southwest of Melbourne's Central Business District. Port Melbourne recorded a population of 17,633 at the 2021 census. It is surrounded on almost all sides by the Yarra River across which the Westgate Bridge crosses. Across the river to the north by Seddon, West Melbourne and the Docklands, to the East, South Melbourne and Albert Park, south by Port Phillip Bay, and across the river to the west Yarraville Newport.
